There are single bowling
ball totes and double bowling ball totes -- if
you find a tote that holds a greater number of balls, don't
even think of getting it. Once the weight increases beyond
two balls, you are definitely going to want a roller.
In fact, many people even prefer a double bowling ball roller
over a double bowling ball tote: two 16 pound bowling balls
plus shoes and other accessories can be awfully heavy to have
to tote around on a shoulder -- nobody should have to worry
about throwing out his back before he even reaches his bowling
lane!
However, the benefits of bowling ball totes is that they
often make it easier to grab-and-go. You do not have to worry
about extending the handle and getting the wheels just right
on the ground. You do not have to worry about them tipping
over when you go up a hill. They are so easy to use
When shopping for a bowling ball tote, look for one with
extra pockets for your bowling tools, bowling shoes, and other
important items. Make sure that the strap is adjustable and
padded. And look for reinforced seams (remember how heavy
those balls can be!).
